Subject: city taxes?

is the city not to conduct business as a business, when it makes a
mistake, then be obligated to make a correction,i know the the city was
collecting city taxes on a few of businesses on the out skirts of the city
and come to find out they wasn't in the city limits, but a refund no,then
were does this money go,as a local business owner if we make a
mistake we are suspected to correct the problem what ever it may
be,what do the citizens of mcCurtain county think?

I also was told first hand by a business owner that when they opened their doors for business a few years back that the city said they were in the city limits.
They paid taxes accordingly for some time before they discovered they was not getting trash pick up service.

After confronting the powers to be the were told they were not in the city limits but didn't get any compensation for all that they had paid in. What a deal!

Hummm!
I think I know which business this is on the out skirt of town.
Isn't that stupid for the city to pull a stunt like that? It really doesn't surprise me.
